Global Crossing Deploys Empirix for VoIP Service Monitoring

Global Crossing, a global IP solutions provider, has announced its partnership with Empirix (News - Alert) Inc., for the deployment of its Hammer XMS to monitor and test call quality of its VoIP network.
 
From testing in R&D labs, to monitoring the end-user experience, Empirix has gathered the trust of several equipment manufacturers, service providers and enterprises worldwide. With their Hammer testing and monitoring solutions, Expirix is able to offer quality and performance of VoIP and IP Storage applications throughout their life cycle.
 
Hammer XMS is a carrier-class VoIP monitoring solution developed to guarantee the reliability and quality of next-generation services. By integrating both active and passive VoIP monitoring, Hammer XMS offers unprecedented service.
 
Monitoring the quality of calls helps operators to more efficiently and assertively maintain their service as well as rapidly deploy new services.
